Parent & Child Woodworking Course

• Format: Two one-on-one sessions (parent and child together)

Course Overview:

This beginner-friendly course is designed to foster creativity, skill-building, and bonding between parent and child. Through two hands-on sessions, participants will explore the foundational techniques of woodworking:

1. Session 1 – Woodturning on a Mini Lathe:
   Learn lathe safety, tool handling, and basic turning techniques as you craft your first wooden item—an exciting and tactile introduction to shaping wood. Take home your key ring attachment you create.
2. Session 2 – Build a Model Airplane:
   Step into the world of project-based woodworking as you and your child work with plywood to cut, sand, drill, glue, and finish a charming model airplane — a keepsake to cherish.
